I just downloaded the free version of CRD, but I don't know how to use it. Does the premium version come with instructions on how to use the program?

No, the premium version won't have all the instructions on how to use the program. However, there is a Community Forum that you can access where users post to get help about the program's functionality and errors that might appear.

Yes, latest version is compatible with the Windows 8.1. You will need to right click it and select Run as Administrator. The software also requires another component called SQL Server Compact 3.5 SP2 that will be installed upon the first launch. Follow the installation guide and the software will be available for usage in Windows 8.1 as well.
I recently developed a new crystal report with drop-down menus. When viewing through Crystal Delivery, the drop-down menus don't work. All other reports developed on my old computer work fine, including the drop-down feature. My new computer uses Windows XP. Is there a way to fix this issue?

According to the official website of the developer, the Crystal Delivery product got a lot of improvements in the latest release. Among them, the program was rewritten in C# using the .NET runtime engine from CRv13. This might be the main reason why you can't open your old projects onto your new computer. On the site mentioned, there is nothing stated about the compatibility of projects between versions or a way to fix this. The only thing that you can do is to contact the developer directly on the following support website. This is the only way to obtain further support in this matter.
